MMA Classes In Redwood City
Striking and grappling in one class: takedowns, top control, submissions, and how to string it all together against a resisting opponent.
What You'll Learn
MMA puts striking and grappling together: how to close distance, shoot a takedown, defend one, hold a dominant position, and finish with a submission. The hardest part of MMA is the transitions, so that's where class spends its time.
Head Coach David is a professional MMA fighter who has trained and coached at American Kickboxing Academy (AKA), home of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Daniel Cormier, and Cain Velasquez, and at Kaizen MMA. That's the curriculum you get.
Your First Class
Wear shorts and a T-shirt or rash guard. We'll pair you with a partner at your level and teach the day's technique step by step.
Who It's For
Anyone curious about MMA, from total beginners to competitors. If you've done only striking or only grappling, MMA is where the two connect. Many members also take Kickboxing or Jiu-Jitsu to build each half.
Coach-led, fundamentals first: our coaches focus on teaching correct technique and real progress, not just conditioning.
